NICK W JOHNSON

Heading back to the Blue Ridge, can't you hear the sound? Nick was born and raised in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Lynchburg, Virginia. Early musical life included playing various brass instruments in both middle & high school bands in Lynchburg. This led to picking up an electric guitar and a new obsession was born. After 4 years at Virginia Tech, it was on to the beach. From the Grand Strand to the Low Country, Nick began writing songs and playing in cover bands in coastal South Carolina. While living in Charleston, Nick recorded original music at Ocean Industries Studios and released an EP with Kurly Wolf. A move to Raleigh inspired a deeper interest in song writing. After 3 years in the triangle and becoming a dad, Nick made the move back to Lynchburg. He found his way to Hambone Productions and in May of 2024 released Rolling Hills, a 12 song album of original songs. Nick can be found on his front porch in Campbell County and regularly plays live in and around Lynchburg and southside/southwest Virginia.
